What is Rotary?

What is Rotary Club of Pokhara Newroad?
With the motto “Service above Self” rotary International was founded in 1905 A.D. and in order to carry out this main objective of service, Rotary Club of Pokhara Newroad was established under the efficient leadership of Rtn. Rabi Prasad Baral on 24th Dec, 2010.
The club has been providing service in the six focus areas of Rotary by jointly working with the local clubs, institutions, and organization in order to widen its reach of community service. Besides working locally, the club is also actively involved in matching grants and global grants for project partnership with international Rotary clubs.
Can I become a member of the Club?
Membership is by invitation only to adult business, professional or community leaders of good character and reputation who live or work within our community and are committed to living Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self.”
